a) 5x X 6y = ( 5X6 ) ( x X y ) = 30xy

b) x + yz × yz ( we can solve it by using BODMAS)

= x + ( yz × yz )

= x + yz2 ( yz square)

Hence different variables can't be added so ,

= x + yz2

c) (-8x) X 2y

= - 16xy

d) (-xy ) X ( - 11xy)

= when - and - are multiplied they become +

= 11x2y2 ( means 11 x square and y square)
