Answer:

Solution:

Pradeep sold one AC at 10% loss

     "           "      "      "    "  10% profit

Therefore, loss or profit on 2 AC is= (10-10)%

                                           = 0%

Therefore, the selling price of the two AC's were= 42000X(100+0)%

                                                                                 = 42000

Now,

Let the cost price of one AC as 'x'

and the cost price of other AC as x+(42000X10%)

                                              =x+4200

Therefore the cost price of one AC is x+x+4200= 42000

                                                 or, 2x                     = 42000-4200

                                                 or, 2x                     = 37800

                                                 or,   x                     = 37800/2

                                                 or,   x                     =   18900

Therefore the cost price of the other AC is= (x+4200)

                                                                       = 18900+4200

                                                                       =   23100

Hope the answer will help you.

Thank you
