Total amount Pardeep has = 10080
Let no. of 100 Rs. notes = x
so no. of 500 Rs notes = x/4
no. of 50 Rs. notes = x/2
no. of 1 Rs. notes = 2x

Amount for 100 Rs. notes = 100x
Amount for 500 Rs. notes = 500.x/4
Amount for 50 Rs. notes =50.x/2
Amount for 1 Rs. notes = 1.2x

so 100x +125x + 25x +2x = 10080
252x = 10080
x = 10080/252
x=40
so no. of 100 Rs. notes = 40
