Answer:

Given :-

  • Pradipbabu and Aminabibi started a partnership business by investing Rs. 24000 and Rs. 30000 respectively at the beginning of the year. After 5 months Pradipbabu invested the capital of Rs. 4000 more. If the yearly profit is Rs. 27716.

Find out :-

  • Find the share of each of them.

Solution :-

★ Principal of Pradipbabu is

Rs. 24000 for 5 months and

Rs. (24000 + 4000)

➻ Rs. 28000 for 7 month

➻ Rs. 28000

★ In account of 1 month principal

Rs. {(24000 × 5) + (28000 × 7)}

In account of 1 month principal

➻ Rs. 120000 + 196000

➻ Rs. 316000

★ In account of 1 month principal of Aminabibi Rs. (30000 × 12)

➻ Rs. 360000

★ Ratio of principal of Pradipbabu and Aminabibi = 316000 : 360000

= 316 : 360

= 79 : 90

★ Pradipbabu will get the profit

Rs. 79/169 × 27716

Pradipbabu will get the profit

➻ Rs. 12956

★ Aminabibi will get the profit

Rs. 90/169 × 27716

Aminabibi will get the profit

➻ Rs. 14760

Therefore,

Pradipbabu profit share = Rs. 12956

Aminabibi profit share = Rs. 14760
