Answer:

Radius of hemisphere and cone = 7 cm

Height of toy = 31 cm

Height of cone = 31 cm - 7 cm = 24 cm

Curved surface area of cone = \pi r (\sqrt{h^2+r^2})

Curved surface area of cone = \frac{22}{7} \times 7 (\sqrt{24^2+7^2})

Curved surface area of cone = 550 cm^2

Curved surface area of hemisphere = 2 \pi r^2 = 2 \times \frac{22}{7} \times 7^2 = 308 cm^2

Total surface area of toy = 550+308 = 858 sq.cm.

Surface area of 50 toys = 858*50 =42900 sq.cm.

Cost of material used for coloring the toys is RS. 5 per 100 sq.cm.

Cost for 1 sq.cm= \frac{5}{100}

Cost for 42900 sq.cm= \frac{5}{100} \times 42900=2145

So, the cost of 50 such toys if cost of material used for coloring the toys is RS. 5 per 100 sq.cm. is Rs.2145

Cost of manufacturing is RS. 10 per toy.

Cost of manufacturing of 50 toys = 50* 10 =500

Hence the cost of 50 such toys if cost of material used for coloring the toys is RS. 5 per 100 sq.cm. is Rs.2145  and Cost of manufacturing of 50 toys is Rs. 500
