Step-by-step explanation:

Perimeter of the square = 4 x side of the square = 4 x 4 = 16

Perimeter of the circular pipe = 2πr = 2 x 3.14 x 4 = 25.12

Length of chord left with Pragya = 25.12 -16 = 9.12

Answer :-

9.12 cm

Explanation :-

Given :-

Side of square = 4 cm

To find :-

Length of chord left with pragya

Solution :-

\rule {300}{1.5}

The perimeter of square = 4 × Side

\sf {\implies}\: 4 × 4

\sf {\implies}\:16 cm

According to the Problem :-

The radius of the circular pipe = 4 cm

The perimeter of the circular pipe = \sf\: 2\times\pi\times r

\sf {\implies}\:2 × 3.14 × 4

\sf {\implies}\:25.12 cm

\rule {300}{1.5}

Length of the chord left with Pragya = 25.12 – 16

=> 9.12 cm
