Prameela painted the outer surface of a cabinet of measures 1m×2m×1.5m.find the surface area she cover if she painted all except the bottom of the cabinet?

l = 1m, b =2m & h=1.5m
Total Surface Area = 2(l×b×h) sq. unit
2(1×2×1.5)
2×3
=6
hence, the surface area she covered with paint all the except the bottom area of the cabinet is 6 sq. unit.

Heya,

Length = 1m
Breadth = 2m
Height = 1.5m

=> Area of 4 walls = 2h (l + b)

=> Area = 2 × 1.5 ( 1 × 2 )

=> Area = 3 (2)

=> Area = 6m^2
