Pramod is 15 years younger than his sisters age.after 5 years he will be half of his sister age find their present age

if pramod's age is x and sister's age is y, then equations formed will be x=y-15 and x+5=1/2(y+5)
Hence pramod's age (x)= 10 years and sister's age(y)=25 years...
we have x=y-15
put this value of x in;
x+5=1/2(y+5)
so y-15+5=1/2(y+5)
y=20+5
y=25-------------------(i)
put this value of y in x=y-15
so x=25-15
x=10-------------------(ii)
