Literacy is one of the greatest gifts a person can receive.

The government has passed a law which gives a right to each one to be educated. But a proper education which nurtures a sense of dignity and self respect still remains a far cry, as education cannot be promoted just by a law.

Illiteracy can be removed by the educated youth who are inspired by the idea of,  "each one, teach one", "we learn so that we can share". Students can help the illiterates in developing proper skills, hygiene, childcare, nutrition, and removing blind faith and narrow mindedness. They can stage street plays to enlighten them about various things and save them from being cheated.

And thus prove that literacy can change the world.
