no she is incorrect. This is because mushrooms are a type of fungi which according to the five kingdom classification by Whittaker do not come under the kingdom plantae.

Instead they come under the kingdom fungi.

The five kingdoms are -

1. Monera

2. Protista

3. Fungi

4. Plantae

5. Animalia
