Let rajans age = x
Therefore rajans age is three fifth = x/5
Therefore prathibhas age = x/5+20

Therefore
X/5 = x/5+20. Or you can also take x/5+20 = x/5
5x = 5x +20. We multiplied the denominator(5) in their opposite sides
X = 5x + 20/5. 5 and 20 get simplified and will become 4(I am using transposing method)
X = 5x + 4
X -5x = 4. I transposed 5x.
-4x = 4
X = 4 /4
X = 1. (I removed minus sign as age cannot be in negative
Therefore
X = 4 — answer
Therefore
Rajans age = 1
Prathibhas age = 1 + 20 = 21
Hope it helps
