Answer:

BEFORE SELLING THE S.P. WAS = 8900 + 8900 = 17800

FIRST SAREE.

----------------------

S.P. = 8900

profit (gaining) = 20%

profit in rupee =

 \frac{20}{100}  \times 8900 = 1780

total S.P. =. 8900 + 1780 = 10680

SECOND SAREE

_______________

S.P. = 8900

lose (losing) = 20%

lose in rupee =

 \frac{20}{100}  \times 8900 = 1780

total S.P = 8900 - 1780 = 7120

TOTAL S.P. AFTER SELLING = 10680 + 7120 = 17800

PROFIT % =

 \frac{sp \:  -  \: cp}{cp}  \times 100  \\  =  \frac{17800 - 17800}{17800} \times 100 \\ 0 \: percent

here is the answer
