New mobile has been lost by Pratima. There is a change in active and passive voice, taught in English language. In one voice, agreement of object and subject changes to vice versa in another. Normally, speaking and written english language is in the version of active voice. Passive voice is hardly used usually, in the conversation.

The original sentence is:

Pratima lost her new mobile

The original sentence is given in active voice.

On being converted to passive voice, the sentence will be as follows:

The new mobile of Pratima was lost by herself.

The above sentence has been converted into passive voice.

In a passive voice the subject and the predicate interchange their places keeping the meaning of the sentence intact.
