Pravara is one of the major tributaries of river Godavari which is located in Maharashtra , India. Pravara rises from the slopes of Sahyadris which are in eastern part and Ahmednagar is the district in Maharashtra from where it originates. Both the source and the confluence is from the same place which is district Ahmednagar fron the state Maharashtra.
