The pocket money with Ritesh is $3x$

Also said if Praveen gives rupees $20$ to Ritesh their pocket money becomes equal.

The pocket money with Praveen after giving rupees $20$  is $5x-20$

We can write the condition as,

$5x-20=3x$

$5x-3x=20$

$2x=20$

$x=10$
