Pravin and Ritesh have pocket money in the ratio 5:3 if Praveen gives Rs 22 Ratheesh both of them will have equal amount of money how much did each of them have in the beginning.

Ratio= 5:3

Let the common multiply be x

Therefore ratio= 5x: 3x

5x= 3x+22

5x-3x= 22

2x= 22

x= 22/2

x= 11

Answer: Pravin's share= 5(11)= Rs.55

Ritesh's share= 3(11)= Rs. 33
