1) Wash your eye thrice with splitting cold water
2)Don't rub your eye
After eye surgery--
1)Don't keep your eye in contact with dirt and dust
2)Avoid going out during a sunny day (if it is urgent then wear the glass provided by the doctor after the surgery)
