Pelse's should be dried in sunlight in order to remove the moisture in them. Then, things with antimicrobial properties, for e.g. tulsi leaves, ash, should be added to the pulses. The pulses should be stored in a container that allows air to circulate freely and is hygienic, like peri or Peru.
