1-Pest Control:-Pulses are put into storage after pest control so that chances of infestation could not increase.
2-Low humidity:-Pulses are put in low humidity area so that RH level could not increase
3-Low moisture content:-They are also kept there where is low moisture content.

The following precautions should be taken during the packaging of pulses:-

First the storage material as well as the storage area must be clean and dried properly.Next the storage must be free of bacteria and small creatures such as rats etc.And the last, the container must be air tight.
