There was a boy named Rahul. He lived in a small village in North India. He was born in a
large family. His family consisted of his father, mother, two brothers and two sisters. He was
the youngest of all. He was ten years old. His father was a poor farmer and had a small piece of
land. He grew wheat and sometimes few vegetables. They had to depend on rains for
irrigation. The family had two cows, Rahul would spend time taking care of the cows. He
would also deliver milk. He kept himself busy. He had no form of entertainment. Inspite of
being poor, the family was a happy lot and enjoyed whatever meal they could afford. At times
the food served to them was not enough.​
