dipole moment of AX4 will be zero if it is perfectly square planar because

if A and X have zero OR nearly zero electronegativity difference then there will be no attraction of electrons pair towards any any of the atoms in a AX4

if there is electronegativity difference between and ax therefore on resolving vectors of dipole moment we can say that every dipole moment will be cancelled by other dipole moment therefore net dipole moment will be zero
