The effects of removal of pancreas from human body is given below :
1. If pancreas is removed from our body, then our digestive system will not work properly and the food that we eat will not be completely digested.
2. Pancreas releases pancreatic juice which contains many enzymes which are responsible for the digestion of proteins, starch, fats, etc. And if pancreas gets removed, no digestion of these biomolecules will occur.
3. The alpha and beta cells of pancreas produces hormones called glucagon and insulin respectively. If pancreas is removed, these hormones will not be released and there will be no maintenance of the level of glucose in our blood.
