This is a simple case of the Markonikov's Rule. In HBr Addition reaction, “The negative part of the addendum attaches to the carbon which has least number of hydrogen attached to it.”

For Example:

CH3–CH=CH2 + HBr → CH3-CH(Br)-CH3
