● Gold cannot displace copper from copper sulphate solution.

● This is because gold is very much less reactive than that of copper hence it cannot replace copper from copper sulphate solution and form gold sulphate.

● After the reaction very negligible amount of gold sulphate is found and high amount of copper sulphate are left in the solution.
