8×1/2= 4 kg
242×1/4=60.5 rupees
now,
price for one kg= 60.5/4= 30.25/2= 15.125/1= 15.125 rupees per kg
therefore,.
preeti paid rupees 15.125= 15.14 rupees per kg for sugar
