Preganglionic (presynaptic) neurons- the cell body of the neuron is locatedin the grey matter of the spinal cord or brain. It ends in a sympathetic orparasympathetic ganglion.Preganglionic autonomic fibers- may begin in the hindbrain, midbrain, upper thoracic spinal cord, or fourth sacral level of the spinal cord.
