Ancient day people were involved in gathering and hunting.   Their gathering activities included fruits and vegetables which helped them to survive for longer periods.   Their hunting activities included wild animals such as deer, fox, wolf, buffalo, cow etc.   Vegetation was an important issue because most of the lands were fertile for agriculture.   People moved from forests to farmlands and practiced agriculture.
