Answer:

The cost price to Hari is Rs.632.5.

Step-by-step explanation:

Given : Prem sold a transistor to Sudhir at a a gain of 10% and Sudhir sold it to Hari at a gain of 15%. Prem had bought it for ₹500.

To find : What did it cost to Hari ?

Solution :

Prem sold a transistor to sudhir at a gain of 10% and prem had bought it for Rs 500 .

Gain amount is

G=10\%\times CP

G=0.10\times 500

G=50

Gain = Selling price - Cost price

i.e. 50= Selling price - 500

Selling price = 500+50

Selling price = Rs. 550

Sudhir sold it to Hari at a gain of 15% Prem .

Gain amount is

G=15\%\times CP

G=0.15\times 550

G=82.5

Gain = Selling price - Cost price

i.e. 82.5= Selling price - 550

Selling price = 550+82.5

Selling price = Rs. 632.5

Therefore, The cost price to Hari is Rs.632.5.
