C.P to Prem = Rs. 500
Gain = 10%
S.P = C.P*(100+G)/100 = 500*110/100 = Rs.550

C.P to Sudhir = Rs. 550
Gain = 15%
S.P = C.P*(100+G)/100 = 550*115/100 = 632.5

C.P to Hari = Rs. 632.5
Hope it helps.

Answer:

The cost price for hari is Rs 632.5 .

Step-by-step explanation:

As given

Prem sold a transistor to sudhir at a gain of 10% and prem had bought it for Rs 500 .

10% is written in the decimal form

= \frac{10}{100}

= 0.10

Gain amount = 0.10 × Cost price of  transistor for Prem

                     = 0.10 × 500

                     = Rs 50

As

Gain = Selling price - Cost price

Put all the values in the above

50 = Selling price - 500

Selling price = 500 + 50

Selling price = Rs 550

Thus the selling price for Prem is Rs 550 .

As given

Sudhir sold it to hari at a gain of 15% prem .

(As the selling price for Prem is the cost price for the Sudhir .)

15% is written in the decimal form

= \frac{15}{100}

= 0.15

Gain amount = 0.15 × Cost price for sudhir

                      = 0.15 × 550

                      = Rs 82.5

82.5= Selling price - 550

Selling price =  550 + 82.5

Selling price = Rs 632.5

Therefore the cost price for hari is Rs 632.5 .
