Haemoglobin and chlorophyll , both are pigments with similar organic components but different in inorganic atom. Haemoglobin contains ferrous ion whereas chlorophyll contains magnesium ion. Haemoglobin can carry oxygen and carbon dioxide whereas chlorophyll can absorbs light energy and convert it into chemical energy.
