Rohit: I always thought keeping a diary was only for the shy kids.

Ankur: Well, it isn't only for  them . We too have things to share too. I often write in my diary.

Rohit: What do you write about?

Ankur: Just about anything- happy moments, things that bother me, matters that confuse me, or of those wonderful times when we all went to school.

Rohit: School was indeed fun. You have suddenly brought back so many school memories...

Ankur: Now even you have something to write about!

Rohit: Yes, you are right. Keeping a diary will keep my memories intact. I won't forget them with time.

Ankur: And then many years later when you read those entries, you will feel so good.

Rohit: What about the sad memories?

Ankur: I have felt that writing them down helps you get over the sadness. You don't have to wait to talk to someone- your diary is always available.

Rohit: I never thought of it that way. A diary is indeed a lot more important than I ever thought it was.

Ankur: Oh yes, it is! My diary helps me express myself, manage my emotions better and the writing even gives me some language practice.

Rohit: That will certainly make ma'am very happy.

Ankur: Probably, but I am not going to take my diary to school to show it to her!
