A family is planning to buy a 40 inch LED TV. The father wants to buy the basic model whereas the son (you) is interested in buying a smart LED TV. They had an argument regarding the same. The following is what they said to each other:

Father: Hey, everyone get ready; we are going to buy a new 40 inch LED TV for the family.

Son (you): Great! Father which make have you decided?

Father: Well there are so many TV brands available these days at reasonable price! In fact, one of my colleagues bought an INTEX TV; it is quite good.

Son: What are its features, dad?

Father: It is 40 inches HD TV with an offer of free home theatre system just for rupees 22000/-

Son (disapprovingly): Father, but there are better TV’s available in the market. I feel we should buy a smart TV of LG or Sony or Samsung brand.

Father: We are buying TV for watching TV programs only; for internet you have your computer and smart-phones, why should we spend extra money unnecessarily?

Son: But all my friends have smart TV’s in their homes! I think we should buy the best with all the latest features.

Father: But we have no need of smart TV; besides my budget does not allow a smart TV.

Son: Why do elders always talk of budget? Why do they always go for lowest models?

Father: Well, budget is very important. I have to look after all the family expenses. We elders earn money with lots of hard-work; so we don’t spend it unwisely. When you grow up you will understand it. But it is decided that we will buy only a simple LED HD TV.
