PRE-INDEPENDENCE

Rural India in the pre independence period did not have much variety of goods and services available with them.

1. They used to grow their own food to eat.
2. The houses were small and made out of cowdung.
3. The means of transport were less.
4. The communication means were not there.

Urban India had a few things available at their disposal:

1. They had a chance to educate themselves.
2. They had better transport means as compared to Rural India.
3. The wired telephone were available to make long distant calls.

CURRENT SCENARIO:

1. Today the time has changed and we have a lot of goods and service to use.
2. We have technology for our entertainment, work, travel etc.
3. We have access with almost all places in the world.
4. We are better educated.
5. Mobile phones, laptops today are a common thing.
