Today a tree plantation program was organized in our school in which the Chief Minister was the chief guest. He apprised the students about important environmental issues, stating the utility of trees. Many officers also came with him. The Chief Minister, the officers, the headmaster, the teachers and some students of the school together planted some trees. I also got a chance to plant trees in this ceremony. We all got very happy by planting trees.
On this occasion, the students presented different programs like dance, drama etc. Through these programs, the message of protecting the environment was given. This ceremony became very important for all. If you ever get an opportunity, you too will plant trees and follow your duty and responsibility towards the environment, you will also feel very happy and proud of this work.
