Rabindranath Tagore by the name we first come across the term - "Bishwakabi". He got the novel prize for writing "Gitanzali". As we know that he was the son of a zamindar's family. Being a son of that family his father didn't allow him to go to school like other children. He wrote many poems, prose, and many dramas. In English we would call William Shakespeare but in Bengali we can call Rabindranath Tagore. He got the title "knighthood" but he refused due to jalinwala Baghdad massacre. This great man died in the year of 7th August 1941.
