There are mainly 4 types of pollution

1. Air Pollution - type of pollution  that affects the air and is caused by smoke or other harmful gases
2. Noise Pollution - Type of pollution in which  exposure to elevated sound levels that may lead to headache or loss of hearing.
3. Water Pollution -   Pollution of water bodies , such as lakes, rivers, seas, the oceans. It occurs when pollutants reach these bodies of water, without treatment.
4. Land pollution is the destruction of earths surface by burying garbage and waste materials

Nowadays  people travel through public transports like bus auto rickshaw etc

A few methods to reduce pollution  are

1. garbage should be treated chemically chemically and physically before dumping it into water.
2. Use of public transport will lower the amount of increased co2 in air thereby helping in reduction of pollution
3. music systems should be shut down after 10 in night thereby reducing noise pollution
4. Garbage shouldn't be dumped in soil and more trees should be planted
