1)What is Phobic?

Phobic is having or involving an unreasonable or strong dread or dislike to something.

2)What is Phobic Disorder person?

  • A phobia is a persistent, irrational fear of something, someone, an animal, an activity, or a circumstance. It's an anxiety disorder of some sort. A person with a phobia either seeks to avoid or endures the item that causes the dread with tremendous anxiety and distress.

3)Common Phobias:

  • Arachnophobia, or the fear of spiders, is a common phobia. Aviophobia is the dread of flying in an aeroplane.

4)Cause of Phobia:

  • Environment and genetics. There could be a link between your own phobia and your parents' phobia or anxiety, which could be attributable to heredity or learned behaviour.

5)Treatment:

  • Psychotherapy. Talking to a mental health professional about your unique phobia can help you manage it. The most successful therapies are exposure therapy and cognitive behavioural therapy. The goal of exposure therapy is to change your reaction to the thing or circumstance that you are afraid of.
