Tense is the kind of a verb that takes to show the time it happened.
Basically there are 3 main tenses:
Present tense: Things that is factual when the words are written or spoken.
Past tense: Things that were factual before the words were written or spoken.
Future tense: Things that will be factual after the words are written or spoken.
