Yelahanka in Bangalore witnessed a tragic road accident yesterday on the wee hours of Sunday, 8/8/2019. The accident happened when a car rammed into a van coming on the opposite lane near Yelahanka on the Bangalore-Hyderabad national highway.
Five people who travelled in the van and three in the car are reported to be dead on the spot. The remaining five are severely injured and are admitted at the nearby Army Hospital. According to the witnesses’ account, this terrifying accident was a clear case of hit and collision caused by the driver of the car who had been driving after drinking alcohol heavily.
