 The International Yoga Day was celebrated in our school on 21st June 2017. The chief guest was the C.E.O. of our city.

He inaugurated the celebrations by lighting the lamp on the stage in our school hall. This was followed by a prayer, chanting of hymns and oath taken by all the students present.

A short film was screened for the students to highlight the benefits of yoga.   Students of the Yoga Club performed important asanas and performed the pranayamas (breathing exercises) for improving one’s concentration in studies.  

The celebration was concluded after the delivery of the vote of thanks by the Vice-Principal of the school and the singing of the National Anthem.
