• Dance is a sign of communication that allows us to express our deepest thoughts. It displays civilization's cultural elements. India is home to a diverse range of folk dances, each of which reflects the culture and spirit of a certain area or group of people.

• Gujarat's folk dance is a symbol of the state's distinct culture and heritage. Gujarati traditional dances are vibrant, bright, and lively, and they really depict the culture. Gujarati heritage was extensively perpetuated via songs, dances, and plays.

• Gujaratis have a natural gift for folk song and dancing. The Folk dances of  Garba and Dandiya are two of Gujarat's most well-known traditional dances.

• Garba is mostly done by women, who dance in a circular motion while clapping along to the beat. People lit their temples with perforated pot-type lights during Navaratri, and they carried these lanterns or deep throughout their Garba dance as well.

• This ancient folk dance is mostly done during the Navaratri festival, and many other Indian states, in addition to Gujarat, hold their own celebrations. Gujarati cuisine is not just popular in the western state, but also throughout the country.
