Answer:

There is no doubt that COVID-19 should scare us, and those people who get try to be brave saying things like "It only affects old people" or "It only has a 3% mortality rate" should stop having that mindset.

Sure it doesn't "only" affect old people, it has a higher chance of affecting the elderly and those with vulnerable health, and if 3% of the world were to die, 210 million people would die. That would mean most of the entire population of Brazil can die, except its not just Brazil, it will be the entire world. Don't just think about yourself, think about others. There are people who are immuno-compromised, those with an impaired immune system. When you go outside having fun, and accidentally be in contact with someone who has an impared immune system, they are at more of a risk of death than you are. All of us are in the same boat together, and if one person puts a hole in it, it might be too late to plug it.

Some tips to avoid the transmission of COVID-19 can be: Stay home, only go outside for essentials, when you are going outside go alone and try not to touch too many things and keep hand sanitizer on hand. It is imperative that we reduce the number of COVID-19 cases as it would result in hospitals being less full, which can result in people having other medical issues to get in, and result in the very small about of COVID-19 cases to get in too.
