Gentlemen, we wish to resettle the homeless in our locality and need your support in doing so. The people I'm referring to work as maids, servants and security personnel to serve and guard our homes, offices and business establishments. They live in extremely unhygienic conditions amidst the squalor. These people are the carriers as well as primary victims of diseases like cholera.
If we are able to rehabilitate them in concrete buildings in the vacant land that the Minister has so kindly allocated to our society, it would benefit the entire population. The shanties could then be removed and diseases checked; besides that, the aesthetic look of the area would significantly improve. To make the beneficiaries stakeholders in the whole scheme we propose to take 50% of the cost of the tenement from them in monthly installments.
In view of what I have outlined, I now seek your help in taking the project forward. Donations may please be made by account payee cheques in favour of our society. You may avail of Income Tax benefits for the full amount of your donation as the Government has sanctioned this under the relevant sections of the Act.
