In modern ecology noise or sound pollution has come for serious discussion. Formerly men did not mind persistent loud noises. It disturbed the peace of poets and thinkers, but it was not considered to be a factor that could tell upon one's health.

The main factor that contributes to their unwelcome noises is the loudspeaker. It is said that Ranindranath Tagore had forbidden the use of loudspeaker in the draft Constitution of the Santiniketan. It is strictly observed during marriages or other social functions. It's use during cultural function remains confined within the halls.

The big cities ate most subject to such noise pollution. Publicity vans, cinema so GS, functions and marriages deafen us with their decibel sounds. The horns in cars honk in extraordinary loud sounds. As a result some hospitals are marked no- horn zone. Now the doctors often come across deaf cases caused by high sounds in factories.

These days people have a notion that the louder kirten prayers carry higher rewards. These prayers sometimes continue for days on end. One cannot protect because it is a secular state. The serious students suffers, the patient spends restless nights. This practice has been in Vogue since long. But recently I read that the high court in some of the states has passed a judgement restricting the decibel limit of such sounds.

To stop the noise pollution tree is the best way. They can reduce the noise. These trees have many more benefits. Save trees and plants should be our motto to reduce noise pollution.

Good morning to everyone present over here! This is ____ of class ___ going to speak on the most alarming topic "Rising Noise pollution".

With the growing of the cities, the standard of living of the people is increasing. They are shifting from bicycle to bikes and from bikes to cars.

It is not surprising that even a house has more than one vehicle. Houses are becoming nuclear, every household has its own vehicle. Now, thinking why am I talking about vehicles this time?

The answer is obvious. More numbers of vehicles on the road means more pollution.

Not only air pollution, they also cause noise pollution. Noise pollution is very often underestimated by people. But do you know why we all live a tensed life today? It's just because of noise pollution.

Noise pollution not only results in irritation and anger but also causes severe health hazards like heart attacks, increase blood pressure, etc.
You all must have observed that why you feel irritated when a loud music is played in neighborhood.

These days people are making music into noise. Songs are such that they do not provide relief rather causes noise.

To decrease this problem, actions have to be taken. Government should encourage people to use public transport or to use bicycle for shorter distances.
Machinery needs to be upgraded. Loud music shouldn't be played.

At last, I would like to say that we should ourselves help in reducing noise pollution . I know we can't do everything but can do something. Students should encourage their parents to send them by school bus rather than private vehicles. Plants can be planted that can absorb the excess noise. After all something is better than nothing.

Thank you and have a very nice day!
