Good morning and welcome everyone to the event. For today's speech, I would be talking n the hazards regarding the use of plastic bags.

As we may have all experienced and understood, there has been a increased use of plastic bags in our everyday lives. It is a convenient item in our lives, and they also simplified our works. But what we didn't concern ourselves is the events after the use of these bags.

We just casually leave and discard them whenever and wherever we want. But we did not seem to care about the disastrous effect it can have on us humans and even the animals and the environment.

Plastics take long to decompose, most probably a couple of years. But considering the usage and the decomposing rate, it is far from balanced. And now, it is the main cause of the world's pollution. Be it water, land or anywhere, plastic is found all around. They also pose a serious health risk to all living things.

So, it is high time that we take care of our environment before it overtakes us. Let us all make sure to take care of how we use plastic bags and go green in any circumstance.
