Nature has been always the best friend of human survival. It has never asked for anything but gave many things to make human life possible. But we are not valuing our nature but degrading it day by day. Good morning respected teachers and fellow students. Today I am here to give a speech on nature conservation. Can we imagine a single day without getting dependent upon nature? The food we eat, the water we drink, the clothes we wear, the paper on which we write, even the oxygen we take we inhale. Everything is possible because of existence of nature. Then why are we destroying it? Just for little profit we are putting human life on risk. Daily we chop off number of trees for meeting our needs and least bother for future generation. Even for present generation it is harmful. We will not get enough of rain, oxygen, and so on. We can satisfy our needs by cutting them now but then soon there will be a time when there would be no tree and then human will die to even breathe. Cutting trees also taking the home of birds which is vastly affecting bird’s life cycle.
Hunting and poaching animals just for their skin is one the shameful thing done by humans. Many animals such as mammals, rhinoceroses, leopard, tiger, cheetah, and so on have either become extinct or considered as endangered because for own profit humans had hunted a lot of animals. These animals had special type of skin or element in there tooth which made them Target of humans.
Many industrial waste is dumped in either water body or mixed with soil. This is affecting the aquatic life. Also affecting the growth of crops and other product.
I would like to cover my speech with a message that we should start taking care of our nature. It is a fact that we can survive without nature. We have to use it for our survival but then we also have to accept the fact that it’s our duty to take care of nature. It’s a two way process. You take care of nature and nature will take care of you.
