  • September- Elections to the Provincial Legislatures.

→ The Government of India passed the elections to the Provincial act in 1937 in September.

Year:- 1938

  • July- Gandhiji negotiations for the settlement of the communal  problems.

→ Mahatma Gandhi tried to negotiate for the settlement of the communal which eventually failed.

  • December- The Muslim League formed a committee of inquiry into alleged Congress  persecution of Muslims.
