- 29 March 1857 :- Two British mutiny of 34th Native Infantry were wounded by Mangal Pandey in Bengal at Barrackpore.

- 31 March 1857 :- 19th Native Infantry disbanded.

- 8 April 1857 :- At Barrackpore Mangal pandey was hanged.

- 24 April 1857 :- At Meerut the orders to fire greased cartridges were refused by Troopers of the 3rd Bengal Light Cavalry.

- 2 May 1857 :- 48th Mutiny at Lucknow unrest at ambala.

- 6 May 1857 :- At Barrackpore part of the 34th native Infantry disbanded.

- 8 May 1857 :- Court- martial found Troops of the 3rd bengal light Cavalry guilty and given severe sentences.
