This is a grave situation and such crises calls for immediate action from the authorities. Animals are beings just a little different from human beings. As a matter of fact, a research says one can expect a pet to be more faithful than many of our friends. It is because of their sensory perceptions and reactions that they mean a little more than mere pets to humans.
The WWF or the World wildlife fund works towards conservation, and providing for the sustainable development of various species across the globe. The organization works in the poorest of nations where people haven't got enough to spend on conservation of wildlife.
The Wildlife conservation society also works to foster wildlife. They also provide educational programmes to make people aware of the ways the species should be treated. They organization works in several continents Asia, Latin America, Africa and more. They also work towards providing for the national zoos and national parks.
