He likes to use digital shooting method because it helps him to improvise then and there. He was able to complete in making his film in 23 days than 30 days. He does not reveal the stories of his film to the media because people can construe different things and it might affect some of his actors. He quotes his experience with M. R. Gopakumar who was doing a role Vidheyan. He wanted his actors to be intelligent because they should be capable of improving while acting because he used to comment while they were acting. He also says the people appointed in the censor board are not capable of judging good and bad movies.
His movies give importance to the reactions of the people and most of it has his personal experience or personal touch. He can’t show too much of murder scenes or blood splashing because he will not be able to digest too much of terror. He also says that for him a movie takes 7 to 8 to form and it should force him to take the movie.
